This Privacy Policy explains how Conquering collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, iOS app, Android app, test builds, and related services. We keep the policy plain because the product is personal: your goals, groups, and progress should be treated with care.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide or create in Conquering, including your email address, display name, profile details, onboarding answers, habit and tracker entries, group memberships, community activity, support requests, and account settings. We also collect basic app and device information such as app version, device type, IP address, crash-related diagnostics, and usage events needed to operate and improve the service.
2. Account Creation and Sign In
Conquering accounts may be created after checkout on our website or after an App Store purchase in the iOS app, and are accessed with email and password. We use authentication information to create your account, keep you signed in, restore access, and protect your progress.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to operate the app, save your tracker progress, personalize onboarding, manage groups and join codes, provide community features, process support requests, communicate important service updates, troubleshoot bugs, prevent abuse, and understand how the app is performing. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your tracker data for third-party advertising.
4. Purchases and Subscriptions
Purchases and subscriptions may be handled through Apple In-App Purchase in the iOS app or through our website checkout provider for web purchases. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
5. Groups, Community, and Shared Content
If you join or create a group, certain profile and progress information may be visible to group members, such as your display name, avatar, membership role, and tracker progress that you choose to make visible. Community posts, comments, and public profile information may be visible to other users. You are responsible for the content you choose to share.
6. Service Providers
We use trusted providers to run the app, including Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend services, Apple for in-app purchases on iOS, Whop for website checkout and subscription access, and hosting/email providers needed to operate Conquering. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to Conquering.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls, authentication protections, and database security rules. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your information protected and limited to appropriate use.
8. Data Retention
We retain account information, tracker data, group records, and community content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records longer when required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or backup recovery.
9. Your Choices and Deletion Requests
You may update certain profile and tracker settings in the app. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us through the Support page. Some information may be retained if required by law, security needs, or legitimate business recordkeeping.
10. Children's Privacy
Conquering is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and may provide additional notice in the app or by another appropriate method.
